Canada Drives is Canada's largest online used car retailer which allows customers to shop certified used vehicles from the comfort of their home. Since founded in 2010, the company's mission has been to be the easiest place to buy a car in Canada.
Covid 19 Devastated the automotive indusrty. Car sales were down over 30% and dealerships were closing. Canada Drives needed a way to create cash flow in order to survive as a company.

Embracing the challenges of COVID-19, we revolutionized the car-buying experience by pioneering a 100% online platform for Canada Drives. Our innovative approach ensures safety, convenience, and seamless transactions, empowering customers to confidently purchase their dream cars from the comfort of their homes.
Our aim was to establish an online marketplace for used cars, providing customers with a seamless purchasing experience where they can effortlessly buy their dream vehicle, apply for financing, and enjoy the convenience of doorstep delivery within one day.

The vehicle search page offers a seamless and intuitive platform to find the ideal vehicle. Customers can effortlessly browse through a vast inventory of vehicles, uncovering the perfect car.

With the advanced search features in place, customers can effortlessly find the exact car they are looking for with just a few clicks.

Users can receive notifications of price drops directly to their inbox, ensuring they are among the first to know if their favorite car becomes more affordable.

Users can stay informed about their desired vehicle with email notifications sent directly to their inbox whenever a matching vehicle becomes available. This feature along with the price drop notifications increase user engagement and helps boost conversion rates.

Simplifying the selection process with a convenient car comparison tool, making it easier to choose between multiple options.

Users have the ability to thoroughly analyze the pros and cons of each vehicle. They can compare various aspects such as features, specifications, historical information, price, and many other factors.

Users can conveniently compare up to three cars simultaneously, making the process of comparisons even more efficient and effortless.

The product page features an intelligently structured and intuitively organized layout, ensuring that information is presented in a clean and easily accessible manner.

Navigating the product page is a breeze, thanks to the convenient toolbar located at the top of the page. This user-friendly feature enables seamless access to specific sections within the page, while also providing clear visual cues to help users track where they are and avoid getting lost.

Customers can enjoy 1-minute videos detailing the delivery and returns processes, ensuring confidence every step of the way.

An organized image gallery with effortless navigation between interior, exterior, and imperfection images of vehicles. Discover over 40+ high-resolution, full-screen photos per vehicle.

A simplified auto financing experience with flexible options and a seamless application process.

The loan calculator lets customers estimate their total monthly payments, taking into consideration additional fees such as taxes, warranty add-ons, and the cost of delivery. By factoring in these expenses, the calculator ensures more accurate estimates.

The pre-approval process is a fast and convenient 2-minute online procedure that informs customers of their potential approval amount without any impact on their credit scores.

Ensuring compliance with the WCAG accessibility guidelines was a top priority during the development of our designs.

In just a few months, our team successfully designed and developed a comprehensive online marketplace dedicated to selling used cars. Once launched, the platform experienced a consistent growth in sales month after month, surpassing our initial targets throughout the entire first year. This remarkable achievement was even more significant considering the challenging circumstances posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
To ensure ongoing success and optimize the user experience, we conducted regular A/B tests, implementing improvements based on user feedback. By periodically introducing new features, we aimed to enhance the overall user experience and make the car buying process as seamless as possible.
This case study showcases my ability to spearhead and deliver exceptional results while adapting to unique circumstances.
